Are You Prepared for a Disaster?
When a major earthquake, hurricane, or other disaster strikes, police, firemen, and ambulances are often swamped. You might be ON YOUR OWN, for days, without power, or water, or a way to communicate beyond yelling distance. If you think you're ready, see if you can answer these simple questions.
Please do something today to prepare, not only for your sake, but for those around you. Make sure your family is "in the loop" and learn how to help your community in a disaster, by becoming a CERT! For more info on where to take a CERT class, go to Citizens Corp or www.nvoad.org, or ask any fireman or policeman.
